ILLINOIS MANDATED MODEL SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING WEBINARTHURSDAY, OCTOBER 15, 202011:30 AM - 1:00 PM
****Zoom link will be provided upon RSVP***_________________________________________________________________Starting in 2020, Illinois requires mandatory harassment training for all employers. SB 75 will require all employers to update their training practices, key policies, personnel forms, severance agreements, and arbitration agreements.
This online sexual harassment prevention training will help organizations meet these compliance mandates. Your business will be trained on important skills relating to harassment, diversity and inclusion, managing bias, and bystander intervention.
Formerly Senate Bill 75, Public Act 101-0221 was signed into law by Governor Pritzker in August 2019. Under this Act, Illinois employers are required to train employees on sexual harassment prevention by December 31, 2020, and each year thereafter. In support of our Chamber members and business community, the GLMV Chamber will offer the annual State of Illinois Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Program. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. Under the law, employers are to maintain an internal record of training compliance to be made available for the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) to inspect upon request.THIS PROGRAM COVERS ILLINOIS REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING:- Explanation of Sexual Harassment
