    Our client has provided masterful work designing and producing springs for hundreds of industries from the tiny springs in clicky-top pens to the springs in mattresses.  They use the latest in machines to coil raw materials into usable products.     Location: McHenry

    Shift/Hours:

    1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday - Friday

    2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday - Friday

    3rd Shift 10:00pm-6:30am, Sunday-Thursday

    Pay: $15.00/Hour                    

    Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

    Reading and understanding customer’s drawing

    Ensuring all necessary documented information is at each machine 

    Properly using and reading calipers and micrometer

    Inspecting parts and making adjustments as needed

    Effectively monitor production equipment

    Maintaining product identification

    Communicating effectively with other personnel

    Documenting in-process quality checks during shift

    Documenting daily issues

    Documenting daily shift count

    Ability to use Micro-View (Optical Comparator)

    Ability to use load testers

    Performing appropriate duties as assigned by management

    Machine Operator Education and/or Experience Requirements:

    High school diploma or GED                        

    Prior experience in the spring industry preferred but not required

    A mechanical background with a solid understanding of blueprint reading and shop mathematics

    Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; Able to problem solve

    Competent with the use of calipers and micrometers Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 helpful
