Vernon Hills Police Department's Jeff Hemesath, Crime Prevention Unit and Dan Mead, VHHS - School Resource Officer will share tips for securing your home and vehicle along with strategies if confronted with an active shooter. Although rare, an active shooter can occur anywhere and is unpredictable and devastating. Learn how to prepare, respond and protect yourself based on the situation. Registration required.
