Speaker: Steve Lawrence, Designated Managing Broker, Baird & Warner - Libertyville
Learn more about the business and how they effectively market it to the public and other businesses.
Steve began his career in 1985, fresh from graduating Illinois State University with a degree in social science education. Thinking he would sell real estate in the summers he quickly fell in love with his new career. Steve continued his education earning his broker’s license as well as his Wisconsin broker’s license. His first managing position was with Poe & Poe Realtors in 1991 supervising 25 agents while continuing to list and sell properties. In 1997 Steve joined Baird & Warner and began managing the Libertyville office where he is at today. With the recent acquisition of C/21 Kreuser and Seiler to Baird & Warner, Steve now manages over 120 agents. Steve’s focus has always been on a “Raving Fan” philosophy of service to agents, clients and community, supported by a vibrant team spirit in the office. Steve was recognized by the Real Estate board as Realtor of the year in 2002, and Managing Broker of the Year in 2017, by Chicago Agent magazine. Baird & Warner has been recognized for the past 8 years as a top workplace by the Chicago Tribune.
