Hello,
Libertyville High School is holding its second annual Black History Month Museum. The museum is made up of displays, posters, research materials, and other exhibits created by LHS students and staff members, with the goal of celebrating black history and culture both locally and around the country.
The museum is open to LHS students and staff on Wednesday and Thursday, February 21-22, and to the community from 6:00-7:30pm on Thursday the 22nd.
This year, we’d like to invite local black-owned businesses to participate in the museum. This could be in the form of displays, business cards, or any other promotional materials that you would like us to feature. We will have one to two tables in the museum dedicated to promoting black-owned businesses around Libertyville and the surrounding area, and would love to feature your business.
Please consider contributing if you are interested. If you have any questions or would like to participate, please contact Matt Karnstedt at 847-327-7084 or matthew.karnstedt@d128.org.
Thank you!
